Load a License in PDFsharp and MigraDoc projects

To use PDFsharp and optionally MigraDoc you must load the free AGPL or a commercial license. To choose the license meeting your needs compare the conditions at https://pdfsharp.com/Pricing.

Warning

Without loading a license, you will get exceptions when using PDFsharp.

Warning

Keep in mind that after an Update of PDFsharp, your license could get invalid - depending on the supported versions of your license.

Tip

We recommend loading the license at the start of your program.
This way you get an immediate exception for the case the loaded license is not valid.

Load the AGPL license

To load the free AGPL license, insert the following code:

PdfSharpLicense.SetAgplLicense();
